Day 2 O-en Camp@Hawai'i
Day was a beautiful day, mostly sunny throughout.
It rained a bit, but subsided quickly.
Sounds like the Hawai'i we know!
We played around with bubbles, and drew some art with chalk.
We did our morning exercise, Radio Taiso, and put stickers on the Radio Taiso Card for participation.
We played tag at a really large field.
The campers created a tag game called Pacman Freeze Tag.
There were trees that grew figs.
We picked up some of the figs that fell from the tree, opened them up, and made some observations.
We even played Grass Sumo wrestling.
We soon became hungry, so we ate Yakisoba/Yakisoba Pan made with cabbage, which were teared into small pieces by campers, and carrots, that were all peeled by campers yesterday.
The campers played Cups, taught by the couselors, and performed afterwords.
The campers wrote their daily activities on their daily log packet, and also shared what Japanese words they learned from their counselors today.
