Beginning in 1994, Marcinho Savant was employed as the Worldwide Director of Public & media Relations for south Florida's longest running professional musical, "Flamingo Follies". In that position, he founded Lighthouse Media and Marketing, based in Key West, Florida. mmersault, Key West: Unzipped, and other short-term clients. Prior to that, he served as Director or PR & marketing for The Alma McLeod Foundation for the Homeless, S.P.M./AngelTear Artist Management (USA/UK), and celebrity PR clients including: Jeanie Bryson, Scarlett, Nicholas Pelino Jr., Coleman Mellett, Doris Robinson, Piscataway Township Cultural Arts Commision (and as a Commissioner), Circle Players, and others. In 2002, Savant began planning for America's first LGBT-specific wedding and event design firm: savvyplanners.com.
