Well CJ is off to camp to be the aquatics director for the summer. Its great to have the freedom to allow these types of experiences. It sure is hard on the rest of us! CJ has a big role here on the fsrm!
It also means its time for me to get the trailer organized! CJ does a great job keeping up with inventory but its his way. Not necessarily the most efficient for the rest of us!
The first thing I found when doing a market with the trailer is what CJ calls the overflow freezer. When he puts stuff away after a trip to the processor and the regualr freezer compartments get full it goes in the overflow freezer.
Well, I could spend a couple hours going through it and get frostbite on the fi gers or I can put it on sale. Sale wins! Every market that I do this week and probably next week i will fill a cooler from the overdlow freezerand set it in front of the tabke. Everythi g in it will be $7lb. Whatever i pull out will go in that cooler. I have no idea what i will find! I promise even if its a ribeye it will go in that cooler. $7lb.

When markets over the stuff left in the cooler goes back in the freezers in the right place.so its a one time opportunity.

Yes I have a truck! Yes its fun and comfie BUT The subaru is SOmuch better on fuel! 2 70 gal coolers because i delivereed a half cow, 1 33 gal cooler because I delivered marketwagon stufg. 3 40 lb bags of dog food because i have too many dogs, 1 box of trash bags, and 15vvyes 15 50 lb bags of pig feed! And still get 29mpg! I love my subaru!
