Need to know a little back ground on these guys before you see Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu at The Lafayette Theatre in Suffern, NY?

Set in the Star Wars universe after the fall of the Empire, the series follows a lone bounty hunter named Din Djarin — better known as “The Mandalorian” or simply “Mando.” He’s a tough, quiet warrior who follows the strict creed of the Mandalorians, a group known for their armor, combat skills, and honor code.
Everything changes when he’s hired to track down a mysterious child… who turns out to be Grogu (aka “Baby Yoda”). Instead of turning him in, Mando protects him, and the two become an unlikely father-son style duo traveling across the galaxy.
Along the way, they:
-evade Imperial forces trying to capture Grogu
-meet allies, bounty hunters, Jedi, and old Star Wars characters
-uncover Grogu’s connection to the Force
-help restore Mandalore, the Mandalorian homeworld
The heart of the show is really the relationship between Mando and Grogu — equal parts space western, action adventure, and surprisingly emotional found-family story.
So the main thing to know is:
