I am representing her Province through the Tinambac Association of California ~San Diego. This is not your ordinary Pageant. The calling requires not completely representing yourself, but representing what it is to be a community person. I am vigorously representing a front-line of preserving Filipino History, by canvassing for erecting and completing a Museum in Naga, Philippines. I am an America
n, and as an American I know we all hail from different parts of the world, or at least have roots from another land. Our heritage, and preservation of our history is very important. Even though I am an American, I carry the history of my parents, who came from two different worlds. I feel it is good to be educated about our roots in order to find order in our personal lives, and also to add variety and spice into the world. A heritage is not something you try to impose on others, rather share with others. Life is a learning experience, and there is a lot to learn. We should all have something to share, and its nice to know we can learn new things about the people and cultures we encounter. This type of communication (sharing) builds better understanding, and diminishes ignorance. It also promotes a respect for one another. It also gives us a chance to adopt new philosophies, or customs that helps shape our own individual lifestyles. We have an almost infinite buffet to choose from. smile emoticon We also know that history is accounted for to learn from our mistakes, so as to not repeat them. If we are onlookers we learn not to replicate certain actions. I currently reside in Orange County California. I am the mother of three grown children, and a grandmother of one. My children are spread out over Hollywood, Glendale, and Oxnard, California. I have two full brothers, four half brothers, one half sister and two step-sisters. I am an Aunt ten times over! I am interested in fitness. I have run 5 Marathons, several half Marathons, countless 5k, & 10k's. I love biking, skating, walking, and I absolutely love dancing! smile emoticon Having fitness as part of my life has given me the tenacity to push through a lot of tough life situations. It has been an intense lifeline, and has given me an inner strength that always amazes me. Doubt tends to flee, which is fine with me! As a graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University I earned a BS in Business Administration with a minor in HR. I am currently a Life & Health Insurance Agent with Sequoia Innovations selling AIG Products. Ask me how to shelter your money and protect yourself and your loved ones. This is insurance you really do not have to die to use. I believe in the product, and love serving and educating people about our life insurance... This is not your traditional insurance...
