“If I’m honest, I have to tell you I still read fairy tales and I like them best of all.” Audrey Heburn
Once upon a time in a far away distant land, there was a royal family who wanted the very best for their royal children. The Queen enrolled them in the finest extra curricular classes, gave them wonderful experiences, and even bought them extravagant gifts at times. One evening during a dinner
party, an enchanting book fairy visited the family castle. The book fairy claimed that she had magical powers that would turn the princes and princess into book lovers! This drew the curiosity of the Queen, for she had seen how the princes loved screen time and how the princess would never sit still long enough for a bedtime story. The queen spent only a short time with the book fairy and learned about the magical powers that she had which were actually ridiculously incredible books. These books were like no other books. These books were interactive – with noises, flaps, stickers, internet links – even books with toys to be played with. The books seemed to have an uncanny influence over the children, similar to magnets. The children could not get enough. They longed to learn of topics they loved and got lost in stories from picture books and other fiction. The queen was also pleasantly surprised that the family gold was not in danger because the books were so reasonably priced (she could even get them for free!) and were worth far more than any royal treasures. The children grew into life long learners and book lovers and the family lived happily ever after. I’m Heather (sometimes called the “book fairy” by kids!) and I’m so glad you found your way to this enchanted land, er, my business page! I’m a wife to Aaron and a mother of three who enjoys reading (duh!), eating chocolate, watching movies, and hanging with friends! Being an Usborne Books & More consultant has been a bit of a “fairy tale”- life for me! Getting paid to share award-winning books sounds too good to be true! My favorite parts of this unique direct sales company (besides the awesome books and money!) are that we have multiple marketing venues with families, schools, and libraries and that we are rewarded for working versus being penalized for not meeting minimums. I am making a difference in the lives of children and also in the lives of women by helping them have a “fairy-tale” life by starting their own Usborne Books & More business! Thanks so much for stopping by!
