Young, Black, & Hustling

Young, Black, & Hustling We are all in this together – and we are glad you are visiting our site. Many often ask why we're doing this for free, and I have to remind them of the vision.

This is our online meeting place, where we organize our activities, share ideas, and publicize our mission. About YBH
Young, Black, & Hustling, LLC is an international social movement purposed to foster unity and solidarity within our community. YBH was designed to promote & encourage the upcoming generations of African diasporic professionals, artisans, performing artists, merchants, traders

, and supporters. We understand that there is a serious need for us to support one another; an often forgotten notion. YBH hosts a variety of activities throughout the year including (but not limited to): seminars, movie viewings, business networking events, town-hall forums, community service efforts, youth education initiatives, as well as attending/supporting the endeavors of other YBH members. It's our mission for us to understand, and pass down the understanding, that we can do anything just as good than any other people. The vision is so much greater than any short-term personal financial gain. We need someone, something to sustain us when we are not yet able to sustain ourselves. As individuals, we can do anything but we certainly cannot do everything. We must support one another, whether that be exchanging goods/services, offering encouraging words, or sending referrals. In the truest sense we are in this together...

Say it louder so the system hears it: we don’t just need more Black teachers, we need more conscious Black teachers. Spoken by the one and only

Because representation without awareness is just surface-level diversity, but representation rooted in consciousness is revolution.

A conscious Black teacher doesn’t just fill a classroom, they transform it into a sanctuary of truth, culture, and power. They know the weight of history, the beauty of our brilliance, and the urgency of preparing students to navigate and dismantle systems that were never built for them to win.

These educators are more than instructors—they’re architects of liberation, planting seeds of critical thought that grow into unstoppable forests of change.

This is about building classrooms that don’t just teach facts, but free minds.

"Is it stealing to take back what was stolen?"

That's the question asked in the trailer for "Relooted," a video game in which players form a crew and plan a heist to reclaim real-life African artifacts held in Western museums. https://cnn.it/3Wj9dWF

This young man, Jalen Wiggins, was seen doing schoolwork during a big rivalry basketball game. With a 4.3 GPA and 12 scholarship offers, he's on his way to becoming a Division 1 football player.

As a 10th grader, he already has 12 Power 5 offers. He does two workouts a day, plays baseball, and attends extra practices after baseball, all while staying focused on finishing his schoolwork.
