When I say para todos sale el sol, I mean it. Oklahoma City is a very SMALL city but there is more than enough business for everyone no matter what you do. With graduations fresh on my brain let's just list some statistics from Oklahoma School Report cards.

U.S. Grant had 349 enrolled Seniors, Capitol Hill had 308, Putnam City West had 448, Putnam City Original had 460, Putnam City North had 390, Southeast had 209, Northwest Classen had 431, and Santa Fe South had 285. That is 2,880 seniors collectively. That is 2,880 customers, that is 2,880 opportunities to make a sale, gain a customer, and promote your business.

Sometimes, as a small business owner, I too get discouraged when I see that other artists are fully booked and I'm not. BUT then I realize that their customers are THEIRS and mine are out there looking for me. There are obviously other factors like price points, availability, and our ever fluctuating economy. So you business friend, promote yourself, yell it from the rooftops, make sure that every single person you encounter knows what you do. Give to the community around you, collaborate, make yourself be known! There is enough to go around, don't hate, quit under-bidding (which is a thing) and focus on growing, the rest will come too!
