Tonight the Maplewood Oakdale Lions Club hosted the families and residents of Harmony Gardens for BINGO!

While the weather may have prevented the Maplewood Oakdale Lions Club from running the concessions at the second Movie in the Park this year, we did gain a couple of very generous donors to our club. We would like to recognize both Sandra and her granddaughter Marlo for coming up to the first movie and donating a large amount of candy for us to sell and to help raise money for our club.

It is so great to meet them and receive their support for our mission. We will find other ways to spread the goodness of their donation to raise additional funds for the community, and we hope to work together on future projects going forward. The Lion’s motto is “We Serve”, but to Sandra and Marlo we say – “You Serve”. Thank you – it is much appreciated!!!
