On July 10, 2026, Poland marks the 85th anniversary of the Jedwabne massacre—one of the darkest chapters in its history. On that day in 1941, hundreds of Jews were brutally murdered by their Polish neighbors.
Slawomir Grünberg’s award-winning documentary, The Legacy of Jedwabne, confronts this painful history and explores its lasting moral and historical legacy. At a time when antisemitism, hatred, and historical distortion continue to resurface, the film’s message is more urgent than ever.

As Video Librarian Magazine wrote:
“The larger message that this film conveys is the perennial need to remain vigilant against ethnic and religious intolerance. A sobering, often unsettling piece of work, this is recommended.”

In the small town Jedwabne in northeast Poland, Jews lived side by side with local Poles for over two centuries, but on July 10, 1941, almost the entire Jewish population of the town was murdered – not by the N***s, but at the hands of their Christian neighbors. LOGTV FILMS IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE FILM WE DISTRIBUTE: BOGDAN’S JOURNEY WILL SCREEN ON TVP1 (Polish main TV channel) on July 6, 2026 at 11.30 PM.! This is the 80th anniversary of the Kielce pogrom.
Miracles Happen!!!
It's been 18 years since Larry Loewinger and Michal Jaskulski took the first shots for the film *Bogdan's Journey / Przy Planty 7/9*. On July 4, it was exactly 10 years since they completed it and held the gala premiere at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. It has also been 8 years since the film was released in theaters.
From Michał Jaskulski:
“Telling the story of contemporary memory of the pogrom is one of the most moving stories in my life. It's hard to say "I'm glad" when talking about a film whose source lies in violence and death. But yes, I am glad because, although nothing can change that hell, we share a story where anger, suffering, tears, fear, and mistrust transform, thanks to the involvement of one person, into growing closeness, tenderness, and trust. I invite you to this space of caring for another person that was created before our eyes in contemporary Kielce, wishing us all such a world, both private and public.”

You’re warmly invited to a special event: a film screening and author conversation.
Join us as we explore the history and preserve the memory of the former Jewish residents of Tomaszów Mazowiecki. This unique event brings together literature and documentary film to tell a remarkable story.
The venue itself makes this gathering especially meaningful. We will meet in the Sch Tomy Hall, a place with a rich history that was once home to the famous Odeon Cinema before World War II. We are honored to return to this historic space with a film screening and author discussion, bringing the spirit of the past back to life.
Program:
📽 Film Screening: What If We Just Dropped in on Tomaszów for a Day (directed by Sławomir Grünberg and produced by Barbara Grünberg)
📖 Author Conversation: Allan Chernoff, author of The Tailors of Tomaszów
This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect together on the local history of Tomaszów Mazowiecki and its Jewish community.
📍 Where: Sch Tomy Hall (former Odeon Cinema), 1E Jerozolimska Street, Tomaszów Mazowiecki
🗓 When: Monday, July 13, at 5:00 PM
🎟 Admission: Free. No registration required. Seating is limited.
We hope you will join us as we honor the memory of those who came before us and celebrate the stories that continue to shape our community.

✨ Every Brilliant Thing is a deeply moving and hopeful monodrama by British creators Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe. It tells the story of a young boy who, faced with his mother’s depression and su***de attempts, begins creating a list of all the things that make life worth living. ❤️

This beautiful, important, and deeply relevant story is now being brought to life in Poland - in a new theatrical adaptation. Julia Groszek, an outstanding director together with Mateusz Dymidziuk are preparing a monodrama inspired by this remarkable work. It will be a performance about hope, resilience, mental health, and the small everyday moments that give meaning to our lives. 🌿✨

This is an independent grassroots initiative created with passion and heart. But it can only come to life with the support of people who care about both art and mental health.

Together with the creators of this project, we warmly ask for your support through this community fundraiser:

The film is a co-production of MWM Media and Warner Bros. Discovery. It tells the story of the discovery of an old roll of film negative containing unique photographs from the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943. The images were taken secretly by Zbigniew Leszek Grzywaczewski, a 23-year-old firefighter, and are the only known photographs from inside the ghetto during the uprising that were not taken by the Germans.
