Life is for living and candles are made to be used. A special event isn't complete until you scent that event.
One of the biggest honors for me are the memorial candles or scents where the original muse has passed and can still be enjoyed through scent. Scent sits next to memory in the brain ๐ง and is the strongest trigger of memory.
For me, roses always make me remember my little Frenchie Elle. The heavier whiskey scents represent deep conversations with friends, especially fall cosy No. 4 Confidante, a maple bourbon and musk classic. No. 17 Private Reserve reminds me of cuddles on the couch, cashmere blanket draped over us.
What scent notes bring back happy memories for you? Do you lean citrus? Green? Fruit? Woody? Tell me and the occasion below. ๐
