What an incredible week at the A Girl & A Gun National Conference.

I had the privilege of teaching 6 carbine classes to roughly 72 women from all across the country, and I genuinely cannot put into words how grateful I am for the opportunity.

To the administration and staff of A Girl & A Gun — thank you for the trust, hospitality, and for building an environment that empowers women to pursue competence, confidence, and community at such a high level. Events like this do not happen by accident, and the amount of work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed.

To the crew at Cameo Shooting and Education Complex — thank you for providing a world-class facility and supporting all of us throughout the week. The range, the staff, and the professionalism were outstanding.

And most importantly, to every woman that chose to spend time on my range: thank you.
Thank you for your trust, your effort, your coachability, your energy, and your willingness to push performance while maintaining accountability. Watching students improve over the course of these classes is why I love doing this. Some of you were brand new to the platform, some of you came back after training with me last year, and all of you brought an incredible attitude to the line.

The coolest part of all of this is the fact that my beautiful wife taught 6 blocks of her own! Our souls are on fire for this, and I thank God for every chance we get to serve him!

Lastly, huge thanks to for sending 10 rifles for demo day, ammo, and loaners! The new MK1’s are absolutely flawless! Y’all are killin it!

I’m leaving this conference exhausted, grateful, and more motivated than ever.

I already can’t wait for next year. 🔥🇺🇸

Performance is everything.

It doesn’t matter what you know.
It doesn’t matter what you own.
It doesn’t matter what you intended to do.

When it matters most, the only thing that counts is what you can perform.

All shootings have a winner and a loser.
And both are judged by one thing alone—performance.

Not theory.
Not opinion.
Not comfort.

Ex*****on under pressure.

If your skills don’t show up when it counts, they don’t exist.

Train accordingly.

If you’re ready to build performance that actually holds up under pressure—
come train with me or reach out for remote coaching.

Aggression Matters.

One of the biggest problems I see in shooters is passive ex*****on.

They practice slowly.
They move cautiously.
They never force the issue on speed.

On the opposite end, some shooters chase the timer so hard that they completely abandon accountability.

Neither approach produces high-level performance.

The real separator between good shooters and great shooters is this:

Aggressive movement paired with accountable shooting.

The draw should be aggressive.
Transitions should be aggressive.
Reloads should be aggressive.
Movement should be aggressive.

But the shots themselves must still be accountable.

That means the sights (or dot) confirm what the target difficulty demands, and the trigger is pressed without disturbing them.

Speed is not the goal.

Efficient aggression is.

Push every non-shooting action as hard as possible, and hold yourself accountable for every round you send.

That balance—aggression with accountability—is where real performance lives.

Big thanks to Adam for pushing me

I lost a second where i had to know from kneeling to seated. My right knee is not good but that’s ok. It’s what i had that day and my accountable aggression carried me.
