These honey-eyes are looking at you, asking to help find Jake a furever home

Look at those honey-colored eyes!

STAR of the WEEK. ⭐️. Hailing from Alabama, 3-year-old, American Bulldog mix, Jake, has been loving Wisconsin's cooler weather. When not playing in a fenced in backyard, we've learned that he could snuggle for hours or easily go on a long hike. Jake enjoys gnawing on bones, watching squirrels bury acorns, and jumping into leaf piles. Fostered with a resident elder dog and 2 cats, Jake is adept at navigating social cues with them all.

This very smart, 73 lb., wonderful, happy dog is potty trained and knows basic commands, and is learning new commands quickly! He is working on crate retraining after becoming stressed by the resident dog's anxiety. He gladly sleeps quietly in a bedroom during the day while his foster parents are at work. Currently, he is being fostered in a home without children, but Jake had fun with the Halloween trick-or-treaters; he was very well behaved as the children gave him belly rubs and dog treats! As a medium energy dog, Jake is playful, smart, patient, kind, and curious.

Jake is a great dog and deserves a loving, furever home! He is looking for a family who will take him on adventures, cuddle with him on the couch, and perhaps, have a doggy sibling for him to play with.

Jake is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. Jake is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $300 To apply please visit mapawsmepetrescue.com

WHO LOVES FRECKLES?

Jake enjoys gnawing on bones, watching squirrels bury acorns, and jumping into leaf piles. He is being fostered with a resident elder dog and 2 cats; he is adept at navigating social cues with dogs, and is learning how to interact with cats.

This 73 lb., wonderful, happy dog knows basic commands, and is crate and potty trained. He is very smart and is learning new commands quickly.
