We’re in between screenings at the moment, but I’ve been rewatching these incredible westerns by Budd Boettitcher and Randolph Scott and wanted to share if you were looking for recommendations for the 50% Off sale.

They fall somewhere between the social complexities of a film like High Noon and the action-packed Wayne/Ford westerns, with a little more contemplativeness in regards to masculinity. Perhaps closest in relation to The Ox-Bow Incident.

Big Top P*e Wee (1988)
Jacques Tati’s Parade (1974)
Fellini’s The Clowns (1970)
