Franklin Village Mural Project "More Art, Less Crime" ...an anti-graffiti movement. We have support at many levels, and we are hoping to expand this project into the greater LA areas.

Haven Art Studio and other artists are partnering with local businesses who are sponsoring art for the AT&T boxes in Hollywood neighborhoods. The goal is to transform the boxes into beautiful and iconic destinations, reflecting the unique and artistic community of Franklin Village. Please leave any thoughts, comments, and suggestions below. Aaron Nicolarsen is the project manager, creator, and dri

Dorothy "Bobbie" is an amazing woman. At 100, the stories from her 90's are still as thrilling as those from when she was embarking on her way to California from Manhattan. She was a mother to many and a friend to all. Her legacy lives on, on this AT&T box, commissioned by her tenants and friends in front of the building she owns.

This box was sponsored by Fresh Brother's Pizza, and The Oaks. The theme is "out of this world"-taste. AT&T allowed us to beautify this space, so thank you to AT&T, for "rethinking" how spaces can be used for function and beauty. Enjoy! Artists: Erica Shaw Art and Brandon.

Sponsored by Tailwaggers/Tailwashers, this box is about the rewards of adopting a pet. Artist is Kris.

Dear All,

The Franklin Village Mural Project is creating quite some buzz in the city. We have the attention of our city council people and will soon be going to them with the ideas for what murals on light poles will look like. I googled "light pole art" and found one image. I think our project will be the first! All of your art will soon show up when people google "light pole art".

Please e-mail me a detailed sketch of what idea you have for a pole mural. The images should be non-violent, non-graffic, non-political and non-promotional. Any style is acceptable. Keep in mind the personality, the colors and themes of the Franklin Village. Feel free to pass this request on to any other artists you know. I'd like the ideas within the next 7 days.

Let me know if you have any questions
