A BIG LTB THANK YOU!!! To everyone that joined us last night- it was a special one, and we're proud to have shared it with you!!
Oh man- just finished the first draft of the last LTB. We're getting real on this one. Real real. Come out and see the show when it's up.
In non LTB news... my short fiction Immortal L.A. is currently on itunes and at www.pseudopod.org. Also, stay tuned for but Live Theatre Blog news... like big. Things are getting real.
You’ve found the world’s premier horror fiction podcast. Pseudopod brings you the best short horror in audio form, to take with you anywhere.
Guys... I'm not going to lie... this is the realest Live Theatre Blog yet. If you've never seen LTB before... come out to this one... when it comes out.
...And the next thing I knew, he was leaning through the car window, and we were chanting in sanskrit. Normally, this would be an extremely average morning, but I was headed off again. I wished I knew that chant a whole lot better than I did.
To everyone who made it out to REDCAT on Saturday or Sunday, thank you so much for supporting us. Live Theatre Blog has been an absolute joy to work on for the last couple of years, and there is more LTB coming in the future. Next up, we tackle Nepal and India. Monkeys, Momos, Monks, Yoga, Hippies, Lines for Visas, Giving Bribes, Bollywood, Chakras, Mudras, Mandalas, Tantra, The Kama Sutra, Street Food of questionable provenance, more down and out westerners and The Dali Lama himself.
The search for the meaning of life in and the people who end up on both sides the Himalayas.
Stay tuned for more Live Theatre Blog. We are not done yet.
TONIGHT! Both the show at REDCAT and the Birthday of our very own Deven Simonson. Get out to the show, it's going to be so rad. and on top of that, we're with some other pretty incredible artists.
Kicking it with the Dali Lama on Sunday. Deven doesn't even know about this yet... because he should be rehearsing. But seriously, I'm kicking it with The Lama, just got my security clearance.
But on Saturday, you should be at Live Theatre Blog at REDCAT.
Sanskrit is hard. Waterfalls are rad. Russians with dreadlocks are confusing. Heat waves in New Delhi are no joke. Daal Bhat is all the human body needs.
In Patan Nepal there is a temple with every pose of the Kama Sutra carved into it. I paid five dollars for a tour. My tour guide pointed out what appeared to be a half man half lion copulating with a goddess, while a monkey grabbed it's testicles. He turned to me and said, "Now, what that mean to you? Why the monkey got him by the balls?" What does it mean to you?
Come see us at REDCAT for more weird stuff from weird places.

REDCAT's Studio series in an ongoing, interdisciplinary program for new and experimental performance works. This edition of Studio was curated with guest curators Aaron Drake and Ayana Hampton, and offers adventurous audiences a glimpse at projects by emerging Los Angeles artists, including Kate Ber...
Rode two rickshaws, a tuc-tuc, a subway, an airplane, and another tuc-tuc... but I'm finally here. All you need to know is the fire ceremony is tomorrow.
Saw two human cremations in one day for 11 dollars. Before that I finished reading The Hunger Games... Kathmandu is where weird days come from.
Where do you find hippies? You find hippies waiting in line to get visas to enter India, in Kathmandu. If you haven't seen a hippy lately, they're all in line waiting for visas. June 1st REDCAT... its going to be really cool.
"Wait, you're going to Georgia?"
Yes but not like Hot-Lanta... Not like A-town... The Caucuses.
"Why would you go there?"
I don't know. It's cheap, they have good food, and I bet there is some weird stuff there.
"So not Atlanta?"
Yeah not Atlanta.
New adventures are in the works! Deven and Eric will be meeting up in Istanbul NEXT week! More #LTBstories coming soon!

I'm currently waiting for a bus to Budapest in an Indian restaurant in the Czech Republic. All I can hear is the clicking from the Rubiks Cube that the man next to me keeps finishing and undoing. Over and over again...
There is weird stuff everywhere.
We believe this at LTB.
Come see us this Thursday at 8:30 in Los Angeles. Live streamed everywhere else in the world at the same time.
He finished and undid the cube three times since I began this message.

The Hollywood Fringe offered me a new experience—watch LIVE THEATRE BLOG: MILK FROM STONE at 8am in my kitchen with Prague Castle and the eternal angst of Franz Kafka glowing in the background.

I got lost and wound up in Bulgaria. I missed Vienna by a long shot. I also hitch hiked on a Serbian Coca-cola truck when I was refused from the border. I was also guided by a kindly Kosovar Flute player who gave me a book of her poetry.... Please come see Our show at the Hollywood Fringe. It's going to be cool. I promise. And come to Bulgaria also.
