When and I sat down to define the look for “THE PERFECT FLAVOR,” we knew we needed a bridge between worlds. The concept, a blend of 90s arcade memories, nostalgic anime, and that specific neon-drenched cyberpunk bubblegum aesthetic, demanded a lens with a soul.

We chose the LVX Aurora V2 FF for their creamy, soft texture, a look that feels like stepping directly into a childhood memory. It captures that specific feeling of being a kid in the 80s or 90s, daydreaming about having a private arcade in your own bedroom. If you grew up in that era, you know exactly the vibe.

The magic happened in the contrast: the Auroras held enough resolution to stay modern, yet provided a nostalgic glow that perfectly counterbalanced the crispy anime graphics. Vintage inspired elements met the new in a pop-neon visual comedy.

Visiting some friends here at Lake Atlanta today, I remembered shooting these images like it was yesterday. In many ways, LVX has truly been a lifesaver. It’s one of those projects that gives you a sense of purpose; a drive to keep creating and making things more beautiful, even when life feels anything but.

Beyond the glass, I’m most grateful for the people, the friendships forged through this shared craft, this is what truly matters. Looking back at these early LVX images, I’m reminded of how far we’ve come. Thank you for being part of the wild journey.
