Amazing music and vibe at Pine Creek Lodge Montana for their Creekside Revival. I haven’t been going to many live. Shows the last decade or so and this is a great way to get back started. I’m a little surprised it hasn’t sold out. Sunday is also free.

First shakes of the season at Mark’s in and out. No school on Friday means smaller lines than the weekend at the ever popular Marks. Definitely worth the weight either way.

It was fun reminiscing with Finn about the old days when they were little. Lots of happy memories there.

We couldn’t make it to a No Kings rally because we’re on the road. Instead we visited Lexington Green, where this great experiment arguably started. Pretty inspiring to think of the courage those men displayed standing up against those who would be king.

Sometimes it’s good to leave the internet behind and appreciate the place I’ve chosen to live in. I like to try to look at it as if I’m showing it to a friend for the first time and how much they get to enjoy seeing it for the first time.

Took a couple days to take out to college. We finally rode the in Idaho. 15 miles of coasting down through the mountains. Then, overnight in Winthrop on our way to a hike in the Cascades. Finally a couple of days in Bellingham getting him situated and then letting go. Safe travels Bud.

Willow Creek is one of my favorite rides around Livingston. The light on the rolling Hills in the morning or evening is incredible and when you come over a ridge or around the bend and see the mountains in the distance, it gives a thrill to the heart. I’m so glad we’re having some great spring weather.

I didn’t get all the way to the end of the road, but it was a good training ride. The surly ogre didn’t fail me although I did manage to do something to it that is going to require a little home maintenance.

I was telling some friends the other day how important it is to get outside here and remind myself how amazing it truly is. Hope you have a great weekend too.
