Looking for Legoland Florida fans 🧱
We rode the Battle of Bricksburg and got soaked! The amount of water sprayed on this ride was shocking and it was cold 🥶 You WILL get wet!
I didn’t go on Fyre Drill in the Isle of Berk at Epic Universe but I believe it’s a similar ride system.

Are you a water ride person? Or is there a better way to cool off in the Florida heat?

Theme Parks have so much to enjoy! Head to my stories for second installment of a series I am calling “Sunday Story Stroll”. I share some details spotted, big and small, while experiencing Legoland Florida with my family. Last week I featured Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. You can find all of them in the Story Strolls Highlights (Instagram).

These are the types of details I research and curate for my Story Hunts. I include a variety of clues in my interactive scavenger hunts for Resort areas, theme parks, and more locations. 🔍 📖 They are great for any age and help experience the location’s stories in a new way.

🎉 Happy 71st Anniversary, Disneyland! 🎂

Disneyland opened its gates 71 years ago on July 17, 1955. It has seen changes and growth over the years, making it all the more nostalgic. 1967 saw a large overhaul of Tomorrowland, influencing the future of many. 🚀

That influence extends to the Toy Story Mania queue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! It is full of toys and amusements, like View-Master Reels. Because we are the size of a toy in Toy Story Land, the reels are several feet across. 📏
So we get a zoomed in look at Reel A in Packet A179 from the 1967 “New Tomorrowland” with the PeopleMover, Adventure Thru Inner Space, and more.

Did someone from Andy’s family go to Disneyland? Interesting that this is not the only reference to Disneyland in the Toy Story Universe 🤔

Goes to show we all want a piece of The Happiest Place on Earth!

⏳I took my kids back in time 21 years to early 2000s Disney World! My Mom found this UNOPENED Bingo game, originally sold during the Happiest Celebration on Earth, which was in 2005. I wanted to see what details were still around.

Watch until the end for a look at both boards in the set. Some icons are so 2005. I had to explain a few to my kids, like FastPass 🎟️

‼️ Please help! I did not cheat! Which sorcerer’s hat is a better replacement find?

Squeezing in another 🪟 to highlight what is on display in windows around the theme parks.
🚂 The Main Street, U.S.A Train Station is so gorgeous and fascinating on every level. On the 2nd floor, before you rush inside for the air conditioning and train ride, pause at the ticket window. Look at the various stubs and train ticket routes?
🎫 Do you see the one for the Lilly Belle on the Disneyland Railroad?

Disney World is hosting its Cool Kids’ Summer promotion again and you’ve probably heard about the big dance parties, Character meet & greets, etc.
But some of the best are the littler things, discovered by chance. Like this trashcan blowing bubbles and a Cast Member handing out little bottles of bubbles at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. 🫧 It doesn’t matter the age, everyone who stopped had a smile on their face.

What is a fun interaction you’ve stumbled upon at a theme park or resort?

Send this to someone who you know is going to Disney World this summer ☀️

Sam Neill

One of his most beloved roles was Dr. Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park cinematic universe.

🦖 🔍 At Universal Islands of Adventure, in The Discovery Center you can find the “Dinosaur Detectives” book written by Dr. Grant in a display. John Hammond’s grandson, Tim, even carries this book while gushing to Grant.
It is now a fitting tribute to both a character and a man who taught us about dinosaur instincts and how the best humans find a way to survive by helping each other.
