Born and raised in Afghanistan, ever since I was five years old, I dreamed of one day working in Bollywood. Today, that dream has come true with my very first Bollywood film, The King, and I have the honor of working with the King of Bollywood himself, Shah Rukh Khan. I am truly grateful and humbled to be part of this journey. The film will be released on December 24, 2026, and for me, this is more than just a movie — it is a lifelong dream becoming reality.
When I first arrived in India, my hotel was right next to Shah Rukh Khan’s house. I asked the front desk where his house was, and they smiled and said, “Just walk out the door, make a right — it’s only a few steps away.” When I walked there, I was amazed. Thousands of people stood outside his home — families, children, and fans from everywhere. The entire atmosphere felt alive. I immediately understood how deeply people love and respect this man.
What touched me most was not only his legendary success, but also his kindness and humility. What a beautiful human being and what a wonderful soul he is. Coming from Afghanistan, then building my career in Hollywood, and now standing in Bollywood working beside one of the greatest stars in the world feels unbelievable.
I want people to know: never give up on your dreams. Make them happen. If I can achieve my dream at the age of 60, then you can achieve yours as well. Dreams have no expiration date. Keep believing in yourself, keep working hard, and never stop chasing your passion.
I also want to sincerely thank Shah Rukh Khan for allowing me to be part of The King and for inspiring millions of people around the world.-FahimFazli-
