Imports@UCSD is a UCSD club made for car enthusiast to share their interests. We have weekly meet at parking lot P701 at 7pm on Monday nights.

Come join our club, Imports@UCSD! Whether your car's show ready, track ready, stock, or non-existent, we would love for you to come hangout and have a great time. As a car club at the University of California, San Diego, Imports@UCSD aims to build a community for car enthusiasts to gather and share their collective knowledge about automobiles and motor sports. Our goals include teaching members ab

out various aspects of automotive knowledge while constructing a network to develop strong connections in the automotive industry. We also strive to create a safe environment where we can test and improve the performance of our cars as well as our driving skills. Highly discouraging street racing, Imports@UCSD gives members the opportunity to go to the race track to satisfy their high performance driving needs. Using all of these resources and connections, members of Imports@UCSD can become strong leaders who are extremely knowledgeable in the automotive field and enthusiastic about everything they do. Even the slightest passion for cars will not be overlooked and is all that one must posses to become a proud and capable member of Imports@UCSD. If you like to learn anything about cars feel free ask. We prefer any questions to be asked during the weekly meets, as it would be easier to help in person while acquiring new friends. Throughout the year, we plan to have track, auto-x and drag events for our more hardcore members, as well as Go-karting, bonfires, and BBQ's for our general interest groups. We will also have Movie Screenings, and Educational presentations led by some members and even those that own performance shops in the area.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: FACE-OFF

It is with immense disappointment that I must announce Face-off on library walk has been canceled this year.

Despite our event being a legacy event, and having the spots on library walk in our name already, the changing school procedures required an additional reservation step which was overlooked long before I became president. Since it was not completed prior to 21 days preceding the event, the school has decided to cancel our event. Despite our pleading and messages back and forth with advisors and organizers, they continuously refused to assist in reinstating the show, citing everything must be procedural and there is nothing we can do. This means we cannot purchase the bollard key necessary to get the cars into the spots.

After trying for over a week to overturn their decision, they have essentially confirmed there is nothing we can do.

We understand that this is extremely frustrating and interferes with scheduling/ plans, and for that we can only express our deepest sorrow, as well as gratitude for supporting our club. We will have an event friday evening to compensate, although it will not be on library walk.

We also have big plans for next year that we will ensure are registered properly

WEEK 3 MEET/FUNDRAISER‼️

This Friday we’ll be holding our week 3 meet in conjunction with a fundraiser at raising cane’s in Mira Mesa! The fundraiser lasts from 2-10pm (with our meet from 7-9pm), and please make sure to mention the club with your order! Our meet will take place in the parking lot adjacent to the building.

All proceeds go directly to the club and allow us to continue hosting car shows like Faceoff, make merch, and more.
