Southwest Alternate Media Project (SWAMP) Business of Film Conference features speakers from film, television, digital media, legal, and financial professions to discuss and provide real world information about the business-side of making movies. Whether you are an emerging filmmaker or an experienced producer, you will learn what you need to know to build a successful career in the film industry!

Since 1977, the Southwest Alternate Media Project (SWAMP) has promoted the creation and appreciation of film and new media as art forms of a diverse, multicultural community.

The word is out. Our upcoming Master Class with Emmy-Award Winning Director Joan Darling (The Mary Tyler Moore Show ; MASH & Amazing Stories) is a hot ticket. All the spots for the "Workshop Participant" have SOLD OUT. However, there are a few tickets left for the "Workshop Observer" spot. Tickets for these slots is $90. Our next Business Of Film monthly workshops is "Legal 101 – LLC, Contracts & More". This Saturday at 12:30PM at The Art Institute. In this session you will learn how to set up an LLC, basic contracts and get a chance to ask about all things legal with Emmy Award winner Scott Noe.
