Innovative Bridge Company (IBC) recently completed four 90-foot temporary-to-permanent bridge installations for Georgia Transmission Corporation’s East Walton–Rockville 500-kV Transmission Line, Project P79463, near Eatonton, Georgia.
Project locations:
• WAT-58 — North Sugar Creek
• WAT-61 — South Sugar Creek
• WAT-67 — Little Sugar Creek
• WAT-75 — Clarks Fork
Each bridge measures 90 feet long by 18 feet wide and is equipped with 42-inch handrails and 18-foot security gates at both ends.
IBC initially delivered and temporarily set the bridges so clearing, access, and transmission-line construction could begin immediately. Our crews then returned, formed and constructed the permanent concrete abutments, and reset each bridge in its permanent position.
This phased approach kept the project moving, maintained dependable construction access, and helped minimize additional right-of-entry requirements.
Innovative Bridge Company provides temporary, permanent, and emergency bridge solutions nationwide—including bridge rentals, sales, delivery, foundations, installation, removal, and turnkey project support.
