Join TNC staff for a morning of birding with two-time Cook County Birding “Big Year” champion, Tarik Shahzad. This event will be divided into two separate hikes. Participants are welcome to attend one or both portions of the day.

🦆 9:00–11:00 a.m. Hike the Public Use Area & Secret Spot

Happy 4th of July! Today we've got the Parade at 10am, an Open House at Riverside Club from 10:30-12:30, and the Little Miss Sparkler/ Mr Firecracker Contest on the Sunset Stage at 11:30!! There will be a FREE Swim at the Pool today thanks to the VFW, a Bounce House & Obstacle Course 1-3pm set up near the bottom of Market St., live music with the Mason Dixies 3-5pm & many Food Trucks open today too! Enjoy! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
