Shout out to Dj Cove for keeping it funky at Bitter Root to raise money for Hamilton Community Cinema. Big shout out to the team that was working at Bitter Root running around dancing kids and cooking for a packed house!

We had a fun time getting down, and drinking b**rs in support of bringing movies back to the valley. Thanks to everyone who came, and donated to our cause!

Happy October 1st, and OFFICIALLY spooky season!

Here are Amy's top recommendations for the firsts week of October. You may notice a theme here, these movies all feature spoooooky good women in horror as the main characters. Amy loves a good slasher, and mind melt, but also a good silly spooky to watch with her husband Joey.

1. Freaky : for the lots of blood, but make it funny.
2. Obsession: For the "oh girl, get out of there!"
3. The Descent: For the dark, scary creature adventure seekers.
4. Weapons : For the weird, wild, and kind of freaky.
5. Long Legs: For the, I like nightmares, they make me feel safe.

Enjoy! If you want to participate, send a message and we will share your spooky season movie recs.

"You don't have to prove nothin' to nobody except yourself."

For some, it's spooky season, for others, it's football season. The two worlds can collide Friday, October 2nd at Blacksmith Brewing for the showing of Rudy the night of the Scarecrow festival in downtown Stevensville.

Go see the town scarecrows, and then come to Blacksmith to drink b**r, and watch the classic movie Rudy. Movie starts around 8ish. Come early to grab a good seat and get cozy. Football season is upon is! 🏈
