We were honored to have had our short film "The Movement" entered into Filmapalooza, the international culmination of the 48 Hour Film Project. It was screened with nearly 150 other short films from across the globe, all of which were made in just 48 hours. There were so many amazing movies and teams there.

"The Movement" was awarded 3rd place overall and will be shown as part of the Cannes Short Film Festival in May. The film was also nominated for Best Cinematography (brookaitken!!!) and Best Acting Ensemble!

Brad Stabio, Kirk Anderson, Leona Britt, Debe Hultgren, GerRee Hinshaw, Steven J. Burge and several other vital folks!!!!

While the members of Cinema Geeks have been doing all sorts of work together, the team as a whole hasn’t made a film in SIX YEARS! That changed this weekend as we reunited most of the family to make a short film in 48 hours. It looks great and is funny as hell. We can’t wait to show it to you.

We Geeks are all indebted to Brit Withey. He put our first film, Hempmento, in the Denver Film Festival, as well as Fonn Baeo a few years later. He was a big supporter of ours, as well as being a really great guy. This news is heartbreaking for us, and the entire Denver film community.

Michael “Brit” Withey, the artistic director of the Denver Film Society, died Sunday after his car veered off U.S. 285 and crashed outside Bailey in Park County, according to the Colora…

One our best actors and best friends, Jordan Leigh, got hurt. And, if you don't know, actors don't have a lot of health insurance. If you know Jordan or just love his work, could you throw him a few dollars? He'll be really grateful (and probably a little guilty)!

Friends of Jordan! Our pal needs our help. You've probably heard by now, he is one of the few people who can boast of TWO blown Achilles heels at the same time. (He doesn't do anything half way!) Can you even imagine? If you know any artists who do whatever it takes to do what they love - who wer...

It was "Business as Usual" for us at the Denver 48 Hour Film Project this year! We handled things a little differently this time around and had a hell of a great time. We think it was definitely entertaining for the 48HFP crowd. Go Geeks!!!

'What if a serial killer picks up a hitchhiking serial killer?'
This was the question in our brainstorming session for what is our most successful film to date and at the pinnacle of our tribute to Mr. Jordan Leigh!

46 Miles.

Jordan won Best Actor once again and the film not only won the Denver 48 Hour Film Project in 2010 but went on to win second place internationally and screen at the Cannes Film Festival the following year. Why? Because you can have a great logline and a fantastic script but it's nothing without the acting to lift it up.

Missing you already, Jordan!

Jordan Leigh. Ba Naché dol Fonn Baeo. Hardly anything else needs to be said other than watch this and I promise you will love it.

In order of release, this is the next in line to say 'farewell' to our friend, Jordan. Is this a real foreign language that is spoken throughout the film? You decide for yourself. "Fonn Baeo" was shot with a loose narrative and in the style of a French New Wave film then scripted and subtitled after editing was completed.

"Ultra-cool Fonn Baeo and his lover Moulousse spend a carefree day in the city. Reuniting with an old acquaintance, however, brings an unexpected twist to their…
