The countdown is on, the Danville Community Fair is less than two weeks away! Where did the summer go?

Join us Friday night as we kick off the weekend with the Street Dance, then come back on Saturday for a full day of community fun, including the Bear Crawl 5K, Grand Parade, live music, vendors, kids' activities, great food, and so much more!

Important burn permit information 🔥

Danville Community:

Beginning July 1, Vermont’s new Forest Fire Warden law has changed the way local fire permits are handled. As a result, the Danville Volunteer Fire Department is currently working through the process of appointing deputy wardens to assist the Fire Chief with issuing burn permits.

As many of you know, our department is made up of dedicated volunteers. Most of our members work full-time jobs and are only available during lunch breaks, after work, or when their schedules allow. We appreciate your patience as we adjust to these changes and continue providing this service to our community.

If you need a burn permit, please leave a voicemail or send a text with your name, phone number, the address where the burn will take place, and any other helpful information. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

We also encourage everyone to keep an eye on our page each morning, where we’ll post the daily fire danger forecast. These updates are a great way to stay informed, avoid unnecessary fire risks, and help keep our community safe by postponing burning on high fire danger days.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support of the Danville Volunteer Fire Department. Together, we can help keep Danville safe.

It’s weekend again!! We will be open tomorrow Saturday July 11th from noon to 8 !! We will be serving banana and strawberry along with maple and vanilla! When strawberry or banana run out we will have chocolate!! Come on over to 421 Brainerd Strret Danville, VT 05828!! If there is a flavor you want please let us know we are all about happy humans!! And pups!! We have dairy free Ben and Jerry’s and we have sorbet also lactaid ice cream come on by we can’t wait to see you!!
