🍂 September Starts at the Danville Farmers Market! 🍅🎶

Join us Wednesday, September 2 from 3:30–7pm on the Danville Town Green for another fun-filled market evening! We’re the perfect after-school stop to grab a snack, pick up dinner, enjoy a sweet treat and stock those lunchboxes with fresh local veggies. 🥕🍎

🎷 Enjoy live music from the St. J. Jazz Trio, bringing swing, classic and traditional jazz to the Green.

🛍️ Shop a great lineup of local farmers, makers and food vendors offering fresh produce, sourdough, meats, baked goods, skincare, artisan goods and more. Be sure to check out Miracle Mary's Cooking Essentials NEW fajita bowls this week! 🌯 NEK Catering LLC will also have a variety of tasty dinner options.

🍪 Our Item of the Week comes from The Glen Farm, where Jill creates delicious gluten-free and/or vegan treats for our allergy-friendly market friends. We’re also featuring The Glen Farm as our Vendor of the Week, with fresh flower bouquets 💐, beeswax candles 🐝🕯️ and more.

🍅 Produce of the Week: Tomatoes! Pick up a beautiful variety from A Fairy's Dream Farm and put those late-summer flavors to good use.

🧀 And mark your calendar! Our FREE Vermont Cheese Week tasting is coming September 16, with local cheeses, tasty accompaniments and a chance to vote for your favorite!

The end of August in our town. 💛

Fair days and farmers market Wednesdays. Town band concerts on the Green and movie nights under the stars. The Kenducky Derby, days on the pond, neighbors catching up, kids running around, local businesses showing up, and summer nights we aren’t quite ready to end.

August was busy, a little messy, and pretty wonderful. The kind of month that reminds us just how much can happen in a small town when people come together.

As summer starts giving way to fall, we’re looking back at a month full of the people, places and traditions that make Danville feel like home.

It’s our town. And we’re pretty lucky it’s ours. 🌻💚

Congrats to Zymemancy Bread Co!

Not quite three months ago, Zymemancy Bread Co. showed up to the Danville VT Farmers Market selling bread and bagels for the first time. Since that first market in June, our community has shown up consistently each week with support and enthusiasm for our products. The humble baker at the heart of Zymemancy has been overwhelmed with appreciation and, at times, disbelief, for all the customers who come back, compliments received, and each time a new customer shows up because they “heard this was really good bread” from a friend, or coworker.

We have been asked countless times in the last few weeks what we will do when the markets are over - where will our customers be able to get our products? Well, the answer to that question is now clear… we are excited to share that we have taken a leap of faith and will be moving the bakery in October to the old Nacho Mama space in West Danville! We will operate on a preorder/pick up basis initially, but will eventually be open to the public. We will share more details as things evolve and are looking forward to this exciting new chapter!
