With the first month of 2020 under our belt and babies on the way, we want to reflect on our 2019. We want to give a huge thanks to all of the trainers and Selah team members that make this adventure so great! Nathan Piper and Patriot wowed our socks off from tying for champion at the NRBC to winning the AQHA World Show. We are so grateful to have such a kind and wise trainer guiding Patriot.
Alexander Blackman has continued to do a stellar job keeping our home base running and looking after all of our future prospects. He also made the Level 1 Derby Finals on Tipsy in Tinseltown. He is always keeping our young ones in top shape and looking after all of our mares.
We are also grateful for Ron Ralls, Bud Lyon, and Jay McLaughlin. They have all done spectacular jobs with our cow horses and ranch riders!
In 2020, we are welcoming Clay Hilderbrand to the Selah team! Alex is transitioning into dad and trainer role so he and clay are working very hard together to get all our young ones started. We are delighted to have such a thoughtful and kind guy to join our team!

What a horse! He marked a 230.5 in the Level 4 finals tying for 3rd with A Vintage Smoke, and Jason Vanlandingham.We are so proud of the Piper team and what has been accomplished with Patriot! As always, Nathan did an excellent job preparing and training Patriot. He and his whole team are always keeping the horses happy, healthy, and never overworked! Thank you Nathan Piper!
We also want to give a huge thanks to Toyon Ranch for breeding and raising this wonderful stud! Thank you for allowing us to own him and continue his journey!
Big things are ahead for this guy!

We are so proud of this wonderful pair! Nathan Piper has done an amazing job with our Patriot. Nathan is such an honorable and talented horseman. We are very excited about the work he has done with many of our young prospects. A special thanks to Toyon Ranch for breeding such a talented horse and giving us the opportunity to be his owners!
