Joan Montreuil is an award-winning Houston based Author and Indie Filmmaker. She is the Visionary and Founder of Wisdom Productions International, LLC, and BWIF, DBA [Brilliant Women In Film]. Joan has over 25 years of experience in the Arts, Media & Entertainment.

Her proclamation day is April 6th. In addition, BWIF [Brilliant Women In Film] day is March 8, Congressional Recognition Award.

Joan is the Program Creator and Director of countless workshops and special events which includes:

She is an Author, Script Writer, Director, Production Manager, Film Editor, Graphic Designer, Producer, etc. Joan Montreuil is an ordained Minister of the Gospel and has put into practice what she preaches. She writes, directs, produces, and edits her own Short and Feature Films. She the lead editor for a hit TV series in the Bahamas, Goombay kids! She is the author of three published books "Delivered from Destruction, The Unexpected and her newest book Beyond The Vows ". She has three blockbuster Feature Films which can be found in stores, on networks, streaming, and online, which include "Walk By Faith and "Closer To Home" and ”Beyond The Vows”. She has trained and inspired countless women throughout her massive journey and continues to produce family-friendly films and create content that counts! Her work is displayed in selected stores, networks, streaming, and online!
