Making Magic Memories ~ Videos Worth Remembering

Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens definitely lives up to all of the hype and expectation. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing it again many times, but the film/video producer in me had a few critiques. Some of the steadi-cam/"trailing camera" movement choices made some of the fantastic sets and alien characters a little hard to see in certain scenes. Also, the flying scenes were exciting to watch even with a bit more "realism" shake-and-zoom technique used than I would have liked. However on a positive note and better than I had expected, there weren't as many lens flares which made the picture much easier on the eyes and more enjoyable to watch than other J. J. Abrams produced films in recent years. Overall, it was a really well written story to re-boot the Star Wars franchise and produced without completely re-booting the cinematic look and feel of what made the original trilogy so great. I hope you enjoy the movie, and I'm really looking forward to May 2017 when the next movie in this new trilogy will be released.

We are happy to have recorded another excellent theater production for Anoka Middle School for the Arts and will be donating a DVD copy to each of the cast and crew - last performance is at 2pm today!

Our most recent project was recording the Anoka Middle School of the Art's theater production of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr that finished this past weekend. Unfortunately, the DVD is not for sale due to copyright of one powerful little mouse, but you can still see it if you find one of the cast or crew from the production - what a GREAT SHOW!
