We’re crazy thrilled to share that IT’S NOT YOU. IT’S ME: CHICAGO has won the first-ever “Best Indie TV Pilot - Unscripted” award in the inaugural category at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, TX!!

🎬 FILM FESTIVAL ALERT 🎉: We couldn’t be more ecstatic to share that the pilot for our new dating / mental health docuseries — “It’s Not You. It’s Me: Chicago” — will make its INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE with our friends across the border as an Official Selection in the 6th International Black & Diversity Film Festival () in Ajax, Ontario, Canada taking place April 17–19, 2026!

IBDFF is part of the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival () ecosystem, an Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television () qualifying festival supported by Telefilm Canada’s () Medium-to-Large-Scale Festivals Program.

This project came from a very personal, very dark, and ALMOST debilitating period in my life. But I knew that when I was first lead to take the scariest leap of faith to produce it that it would be something that could help heal others, spark deeper conversations, and hopefully inspire self-reflection around the world. I’m sincerely humbled 🙏 and can’t wait to experience this with you all.
