🎬 Christmas with the Madea (2025) Starring: Tyler Perry, Ice Cube, Regina Hall
The holiday season was meant to be peaceful for Calvin (Ice Cube) and his wife, Diane (Regina Hall), in their picture-perfect suburban neighborhood. They planned a quiet, drama-free celebration to reconnect. However, their plans are spectacularly derailed when the indomitable Mabel "Madea" Simmons (Tyler Perry) arrives unannounced on their doorstep, needing a place to lay low after a "minor misunderstanding" involving a department store Santa back in Atlanta.
Calvin is immediately hostile toward Madea’s intrusive presence, while Diane tries desperately to keep the peace. Matters complicate significantly when Madea reveals she is guarding a mysterious, strangely glowing gift box that she refuses to let out of her sight. She insists it contains a "Christmas miracle," but Calvin suspects it’s stolen goods or worse. Soon, inexplicable and hilarious mishaps plague the household—decorations go haywire, the family dog seems possessed by the holiday spirit, and hidden tensions in Calvin and Diane's marriage bubble to the surface under the pressure. As eccentric extended family members arrive for Christmas dinner, adding fuel to the fire, the house becomes a pressure cooker of hilarity and tension. Calvin, Diane, and Madea must begrudgingly band together to contain the growing chaos, uncover the true nature of the glowing box before Christmas morning, and survive the holidays without killing each other. This Christmas, traditions will be tested, and Madea will prove again that family is the wildest trip of all.
