Before Microblading...and After the First Session...
My client here just wanted natural-looking-thicker and fuller looking eyebrows using traditional hairstroke style microblading. I explained to her that her freshly micro-bladed eyebrows will shrink a little vertically and the color will also lighten up as it heals.
My services always includes a 2nd session that I call the “Perfecting Session.” It is a MUST within 4 to 6 weeks after the first session, so that we can make somewhat of an adjustment(s) according to your liking eg darker color, extra hair strokes, and/or so that we can fill-in/redo areas that didn’t take.
Please note that you are allowed to reschedule for your (Retouch) Perfecting Session WITHIN the 4 to 6 weeks AFTER your initial Microblading Session; However, IF you don’t make OR keep your Retouch/Perfecting Session within 4 to 6 weeks, there will be a fee to reschedule between 6 to 8 weeks and 8 to 12 weeks and the fee goes higher for any other time after that. A yearly Retouch Session is also recommended if you like the current shape of your Microbladed eyebrows.

This gorgeous lady knows exactly how she wants her eyebrows to look like after it heals from the ‘Perfecting Re-Touch Session’ we had this afternoon. She wanted her eyebrows a little bit darker than the first session, and she also wanted to maintain the high arch shape she already had from her first session...and “listening to my clients’ wants” is exactly how I performed her ‘Perfecting Re-Touch Session’ this afternoon. .

I reminded her as I was Microblading her eyebrows that her freshly micro-bladed eyebrows will shrink a little vertically, and the color will also lighten up as it heals. I also informed her that the post care of her retouch session is exactly the same as the post care of her first one.

My 2nd client today was more of a Correcting Procedure. She had her eyebrows microbladed couple of months ago but there were 1) no hairlike strokes, 2) no pattern, 3) shape wasn’t clean, and 4) there were lots of large blank spots. She was also traumatized as the person only numb the area once but worked on her for five hours (?). Since then, she found herself spending more time in the day filling in her eyebrows with pencil to fill in those large empty areas. .
What I have done is match the existing color, fill in her eyebrow using traditional hairstroke-style microblading, redo areas with hairstroke-style, and refine the existing shape to make it look clean; because there were many areas I had to re-do, I explained to her that her post-microblading-care will be the same as if this is another microblading session...because after all, what I have done for her today is definitely a retouch session. .

“Life’s too short for bad brows”
My first client for today had microblading done about a year ago but it changed color and she no longer likes the shape. After the initial consult, she expressed that she would like to get the traditional hair strokes-style microblading and would like to have an arch.
She is now very pleased with the result of her full traditional hair stroke-style eyebrows after our very first session. I have explained to her that the color will lighten up a little from the color today and like I tell all my clients, any adjustments that needs to be done (up to a certain point) can be done during the ‘Retouch Session’ aka the ‘Perfecting Session.’ She is due for her Perfecting Session in 4 to 6 weeks after today’s date.

“They say eyes are the windows to the souls, I say the brows are the window frame”

My client wanted her brows a certain way, she didn’t want the traditional arch nor a tail area so we had to make that area slightly rounded. She will come back to see me in 4 to 6 weeks for her retouch session aka the ‘Perfecting Session.’

My stunning client’s goal was to have fuller eyebrows and to have exactly the shape that she wants on both of them. .
As a microblading artist, I always make sure to frame, measure, and do the mapping on all my clients eyebrows according to their face’s measurements. As we all know, there is no such thing as a symmetrical face, what we try to do is to get them as symmetrical as possible when we do the framing, the measurements, and the mapping; however, for each step of the microblading process, I always check with my clients (after I show and explain to them how the mapping comes out to be) to make sure it is how they want their eyebrows to look like.
With my services, I always make sure to follow what my client wants. It is always up to my client to tell me exactly how they want their eyebrows to look like because it is, after all, their face. .
