Very excited to announce that I will be a part of Studio Montclair & Latinos of Montclair upcoming exhibition: The Life and Culture of Modern Day Latinidad 💓💛🧡

An exhibition that highlights today’s expression of Latinidad - a reflection of our multicultural community and its diverse tapestry of backgrounds, stories, and experiences. 🔥

This painting is titled: Still.

I painted this a couple of months ago while going through some hard mentally draining times. I dreamt this one night while I was taking medication during a panic attack, and I felt it described visually how it feels. The feeling of slowly feeling calmness but still feeling unprotected, and afraid. It was my first time using modeling paste and I enjoyed it so so much.

I took the last photo on a day that I got back from work and saw the light hitting the painting just right. I took it as a prediction of better times to come 💛.
