This man. I’ll never forget what he said when we gave him this award. “… they don’t give awards like this to us Horror folks often…”
He paved the way for so many and gave horror a place of respect.
To this day, one of the most intelligent and funny people I have ever met (he was even sweet to my children). His impact on the film community and the smaller horror film community will endure. Glad I spoke to him (recently) one last time.
Our thoughts go out to the woman who made him smile—he referred to her as “The Amazing Tina .”
