SOU Digital Media Gallery

SOU Digital Media Gallery The Digital Media Gallery (DMG) is located on the first floor of Hannon Library at SOU; it features various videos created by students, faculty, and other filmmakers both nationally and internationally.

"The mission of the Digital Media Gallery is to expand and enhance the use of digital media at Southern Oregon University through national and international news and to showcase student and faculty scholarship and creativity through digital media. The Digital Media Gallery is a 600 sq. ft. private viewing theatre featuring four digital projection units casting 6’ images. Three of the four projection units may be adjusted to cast three separate 8’ images or synchronized to cast one large 24’ wide image. The advanced sound systems feature a unique four-speaker system of audio directional cones designed to direct sound only where wanted. Four simultaneous presentations in one room, but you only hear yours! Controlled by four powerful Mac mini computers, the projection units can display any media from DVD, Blu-Ray, television, Internet, or computer media files. Bring your own popcorn!"
