The Next Generation of Jubilee A group for attendees of Jubilee! Community (who are in the 20's - 40's age range) who are looking for community and connection!

This group is setup to engage new and current young and middle aged adults in the 20-40's age range, to create a connected community and to contribute to the unique vision and longevity of Jubilee! If you're longing to meet other like-minded folks, and form a support system within AND outside of Jubilee!, then this is the place for you! We coordinate social events, make an impact in the world thro

ugh volunteering, and find other ways to uniquely contribute to Jubilee! Events we host:
monthly social events and meetups (ie. wine night, art walks, movie night, brewery, food tours, game night)
moderate - advanced hiking or other outside activities
brunch or picnic after the services
social justice/environmental/fundraising events
classes/workshops that appeal to our demographic

I, Stefanie, am stepping down from "officially" leading this team for now...I am full with work and life responsibilities and cannot keep all the balls juggling and keep my balance.

I am happy to keep a light pulse on the TNG crowd, and encourage people to connect informally, or to support a new leader who may want to take this on.

I love all you folks dearly and am so grateful for our initial connection, so let's keep it going in whatever capacity that looks like! Let me know if you feel called to "lead"!!

Last week 11 of us from TNG gathered to put together care packets for the homeless. These bags can be kept in our cars and handed out when we see somebody along the roadside. We had a great time socializing and getting to know each other, before getting down to business and making 60 bags!

If you are interested in getting to know other caring, fun, interesting, world-changing young people, we hope you'll join us for our June event (details to come!)

Our first social meetup tonight at the Battery Park Book Exchange in downtown was a HUGE success! We had 9 awesome people come to our first gathering! Conversation flowed smoothly as we all got to know each other on a deeper level. We also brainstormed some really neat ideas for upcoming events! Keep tuned for "Disc Golf Sundays" and a neat volunteer opportunity to help our homeless neighbors.

We strive to create friendship and support for each other, while also contributing in our own unique ways to the vision and longevity of Jubilee!
