Lawrence Lord's Old Farm Museum

(4)

My Museum has two barns full of interesting farming equipment. One barn is full of wagons and sleighs. The other barn holds just about everything needed to run a farm/home. Stop by, you will be surprised just what is under those two red roof barns!!!

Today we had a group of (very well behaved) kids with a school program stop by for a private tour of the Museum. The carriages and wagons were a BIG HIT as well as Cheyenne and Abby....our resident horse and pony. There were many wide eyes at all the "old" items in the main barn! I would say that a good time was had by all!!!! Thank you kids for coming to visit!!!

07/31/2015

We have had many visitors at The Museum today. Let's hope that tomorrow and Sunday we see as many smiling faces. It is so nice to meet so many different people from all around the United States & Canada. It is fun watching the looks on their faces once they see what is INSIDE. Admission is $5.00 per person and children are FREE (with adult supervision). We tell everyone if they think they don't get their $5.00 worth, we will gladly return their money.......we have not had anyone disappointed yet!!!! Stop by and see the new additions to the Museum and the Wagon/Carriage barn.

07/27/2015

Time to get busy....Lawrence/Dad will be home in a few days. I have to find age appropriate outfits for the two mannequins he bought in Florida. Overalls for the man should be easy but an early 1900's dress and hair may be a little more challenging. Help!!!!

03/27/2015

It won't be long now until new (old) items will be added to the museum....stay tuned!

Lawrence /Dad is at the Florida Flywheel Show, set up as a vendor with his prize collection of tractor seats. This is also where he finds some of his treasures for the Museum. While I was just in Florida with him, I got a sneak peek of some of the items that he has already purchased to be added to the Museum in the spring. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We hope you will come to visit the Museum in the spring and check out the new additions for yourself!

Someone left an old "New Home" sewing machine outside of the office at Lawrence Lord & Sons, Inc. WELL DRILLING yesterday. Thank you! It will be going into the Museum. When we find out who dropped it off, we will add their name to the sign saying "donated by"..........Thanks again!
