Eight films have been selected for International Competition at Biarritz Film Festival including LIVE A LITTLE by F***y Ovesen. Joining a group of talented filmmakers such as Kôji Fukada, Harris Dickinson and Sahand Kabiri, we are pleased to celebrate the international premiere of LIVE A LITTLE in the presence of actors Embla Ingelman-Sundberg, Aviva Wrede and Oscar Lesage in Biarritz at the end of June!

The Biarritz Film Festival - NOUVELLES VAGUES aims to showcase the young generation on the silver screen: their hopes, their fears and their power.
The third edition will take place June 24-29, 2025.

🎬 Announced today in Cannes:
Five Ukrainian filmmakers have been selected for the Göteborg Film Festival Residency — and we’re thrilled to share that Anastasiia Solonevych will be among them!

In collaboration with Bosonfilm, K&W is proud to support Anastasiia’s debut feature 30 Days of Summer — a deeply intimate story of two estranged sisters navigating war, memory, and reconnection.
Out of a record 100 applications, Anastasiia’s vision stood out. Her upcoming film has already gained recognition winning awards at both the Les Arcs and Berlinale co-production markets, and we’re honored to walk this next step with her in Göteborg.

Educated in film and television directing at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv, Anastasiia Solonevych co-directed the short film As It Was with Damian Kocur. The film was selected for the short film competition at Cannes in 2023 and went on to screen at festivals around the world.

In Göteborg, she will be working on the script for her debut feature film 30 Days of Summer. The film is being co-produced by Marie Kjellson of Kjellson & Wik.

”30 Days of Summer is an intimate, character-driven story that explores the psychological and emotional landscape of two estranged sisters — Anna, a refugee living in Berlin, and Valeria, a Ukrainian soldier preparing to return to the front lines. I would love to use the residency in Göteborg as an opportunity to explore potential filming locations and begin building connections with local actors and collaborators. This would be an important step toward bringing the project to life and putting the production on track. This residency would be more than a place to write, it would be a space of healing, connection, and exploration. I am deeply committed to telling stories that give voice to the emotional truths often overshadowed by political narratives. 30 Days of Summer is such a story, and I am eager to share it with the world.”, says Anastasiia.

Första svenska recensionen av LEVA LITE beskriver filmen som en svensk roadmovie du inte bör missa! "Leva lite är ett välkommet tillskott i den svenska filmskatten. Filmen är relevant, hjärtskärande komplex och mogen. Filmen osar av ungdomlig energi och jag ser fram emot att följa karriärerna för såväl regidebutanten F***y Ovesen som sin ypperliga ensemble."

LEVA LITE / Live A Little will have its world premiere on January 25 at Göteborg Film Festival, Nordic Competition!

Being selected for main competition, the film is nominated for the FIPRESCI Award, Dragon Award Best Nordic Film, Sven Nykvist Cinematography Award, Angelos award and Dragon Award Best Acting.
