FightSaber is an international Star Wars lightsaber performance and costuming organisation. We are a Lucasfilm-recognized, non-profit fan group who perform at pop-culture conventions, charity events and Star Wars events. FightSaber is also the premier lightsaber performance organisation in South-East Asia with teams in Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Set up in 2010, it
aims to bring high action, kinesthetic performances and re-enactments of lightsaber duels from the Star Wars movies to the masses, to promote greater appreciation for stage choreography as a dramatic and theatrical art form. Members of FightSaber are bonded by a common appreciation for the movies, costuming and a love for the performing arts. FightSaber has staged shows at numerous public events in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. FightSaber has also performed at the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention in the 2012 & 2014, at Legoland Malaysia in August 2013, and at Asia Pop Comic Con Manila 2015.
