NAME & OBJECTIVES
The International Lasallian Students’ Organization (ILSO) is organized to provide the international students of De La Salle Lipa the opportunity to share their culture to the Lasallian community and also to show their capabilities to prove that every international student can make a difference in La Salle. The International Lasallian Students’ Organization’s (ILSO) main duty is
to organize activities that will show or share the culture of the international students to the regular students. This would promote cooperation and equality, and a deeper understanding of the cultural diversity here in De La Salle Lipa. In addition, the organization also aims to teach other students in De La Salle Lipa the importance of interdependence and coexistence with international students. With this, it can transform De La Salle Lipa into a multicultural educational institution in the region. The International Lasallian Students’ Organization aims to help transform the international students to fully become a true Lasallian. Also, it aims to teach them the value of mutual respect, discipline and honesty in faith, service, and communion. Furthermore, the organization’s objectives will be the cornerstone for a change in De La Salle Lipa by sharing the Lasallian spirit and mission to the international community. The organization shall be known as the International Lasallian Students’ Organization (ILSO) of De La Salle Lipa. Its main objectives are:
1) To facilitate the holistic development through the conduct of various activities among college international students.
2) To promote cultural diversity among its members and the rest of the community.
3) To inculcate the Lasallian core values among international students. MEMBERSHIP
The following are the international students of International Lasallian Students’ Organization:
(1) Those who are foreign students enrolled in the tertiary level of DLSL. Filipino-American)
(3) Filipino students who were born/not born in the Philippines but raised abroad and are returning to the Philippines to study in DLSL. Section 1: All willing and interested international students of De La Salle Lipa can be a member of the club by submitting personal information form. Section 2: Freshmen and old international students who are presently enrolled in the tertiary level of De La Salle Lipa. Section 3: International students of De La Salle Lipa who are enrolled in any of the tertiary program. Section 4: College international students who are obtaining their degree in De La Salle Lipa under a special scholarship program of the school.
