SINOPSIS DEL DOCUMENTAL/SYNOPSIS OF THE DOCUMENTARY
La Comunidad Indígena de Q’eros, situada entre los Andes y la Amazonía del Cusco, ha mantenido su identidad cultural por más de 500 años, después de la invasión española. Su cosmovisión recoge y recrea el pensamiento y las no
ciones esenciales del mundo andino, cuyo depositario es Inkarri o “Pensamiento de Vida”. Este personaje mítico encarna y preserva los valores y la sabiduría ancestrales que son una interpretación original y valiosa del mundo andino, y de la forma de vivir en él. Así, hombres y mujeres de Q’eros, han transformado su territorio en un espacio ritual y sacro cuya compleja estructura es, fundamentalmente, una mediación que armoniza lo sagrado y lo profano. La particularidad de este documental consiste en el hecho que son los propios Q’eros que han sugerido la forma en la cual éste se debía realizar, haciendo de él un medio al cual acceden, para hacer escuchar su voz y dar cuenta de su realidad que es parte integral del Perú. The Indigenous Community of Q´eros, situated between the Andes and Cusco´s Amazon, has maintained its cultural identity for over 500 years, after the Spanish invasion. Its cosmo-vision compiles and recreates the Andean world´s essential thought and notions, the depositary of which is Inkarri or “Life´s Thought”. This mythical character incarnates and preserves the ancestral values and wisdom which are the original and valuable interpretation of the Andean world, and of the way of living in it. Thus, Q´eros´ men and women have transformed their territory into a ritual and sacred space the complex structure of which is, fundamentally, a mediation which harmonizes the sacred and profane. At present, this nation is struggling for the recognition and respect which the State and “modern” society still owe it. This documentary´s particularity consists in the fact that it is the Q´eros themselves who have suggested the way in which it would have to be produced, turning it into a means they access, so as to make their voice be heard and give an account of their reality which is an integral part of Peru.
