🌊✨ “Love at the Village Stream” – A Comic Story
Panel 1: The Palace Trouble
The royal palace is buzzing.
Princess Zara, known for sneaking out, looks bored during another royal etiquette lesson.
Queen: “Zara, sit properly like a princess.”
Princess Zara: whispers “I’d rather sit like a human.”
She rolls her eyes and escapes through the back gate the moment the guard yawns.

Panel 2: The Forbidden Path
Zara sprints through the forest, barefoot, laughing.
Her maids panic in the distance like tiny dots.
Maid #1: “Not again!”
Maid #2: “This girl will finish my blood pressure!”

Panel 3: Arrival at the Stream
Zara reaches the village stream — sparkling water, tall trees, birds everywhere.
She drops to her knees, scoops water to drink…
Then hears a splash behind her.

Panel 4: Enter Tunde
A village boy emerges from the stream holding a fishing basket.
Shirt rolled up, water dripping, smile brighter than sunrise.
Zara (thinking): “Oh wow… who created this one?”
Tunde freezes when he sees her.
Tunde: “Ah! Sorry! I didn’t know someone was here.”
Zara: “No, no… stay. I mean— you’re fine. I mean— it’s fine!”
Her brain malfunctions.

Panel 5: The Awkward Moment
Zara’s royal comb falls into the water. She panics.
Tunde dives in like a kingfisher and retrieves it in two seconds.
Zara: “You… saved it!”
Tunde: “It looked important.”
Zara: “It is! It took my maid three hours to fix my hair!”

Panel 6: Realization
Zara notices Tunde watching her curiously.
Tunde: “You talk like… someone from the palace.”
Zara: “Me? Palace? Nooo… I just… talk expensively.”
He laughs — loud, warm, unbothered.
Zara melts like butter in hot jollof.

Panel 7: Sharing Worlds
They sit by the stream.
Zara tells stories of sneaking out of the palace.
Tunde tells stories of village life, fishing, chasing goats, and almost drowning once while trying to impress chickens.
She laughs so hard she snorts.
He looks at her like she’s the most amazing person he’s ever met.

Panel 8: The Spark
A soft breeze blows.
For a moment, everything is quiet except the stream.
Tunde brushes a leaf off her hair.
Tunde: “You look happier here.”
Zara: “I am happier here.”
Their hands touch.
Electricity.
Boom.
Fireworks in daylight.

Panel 9: Royal Panic at the Palace
Back at the palace, guards are running everywhere.
Guard: “Princess missing!”
Queen: “If she’s with those village boys again, I will personally drag her back!”

Panel 10: Goodbye at the Stream
Zara stands, realizing she must return.
Zara: “I have to go…”
Tunde: “Will I see you again?”
Zara: smiles “Try stopping me.”
She runs off, turning back twice, blushing like roasted tomatoes.

Panel 11: The Ending (For Now…)
Back in her room, Zara hugs her pillow dreaming of the boy from the stream.
Tunde, at the stream, dips his hand in the water.
Tunde: “Princess or not… I want to see her again.”
