I believe that flexibility is the ultimate life hack... Rigidity makes one become obsolete with time.
This is why I make sure to keep track of latest trends in my industry. If there's a new technique, I must figure out how it's done..

When I started seeing cakes like these, I told myself "it can never be me!"... The stress of achieving this design the patience involved... I just didn't think it was for me.

However, someone I can't say no to, wanted this cake for her mother-in-law...so I had to wear my big pants and get it done...
I must say, it was a lot more enjoyable than I anticipated 😍
This is why the say "never say never"... The moment you say "it can never be me", just know that it can be you like mad! In fact, it just became you 😄!

There's a part of the Holy Bible that says "But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding".. It's in the book of Job, chapter 32 and verse 8...

On this job, I've learnt just how real that verse is. True understanding comes from above. The Holy Spirit helps me understand certain technicalities with ease. For this, I'm truly grateful!

Something like a fairytale 😍
When I started decorating this cake, I had a different direction in mind. However, the original picture I intended to use wasn't giving what I had hoped it would give...I had to switch to this picture...next, the fabric colour wasn't going with this picture.. At that point, I was discouraged...but only for a second 😁😜.. I decided to colour the fabric with food colour and bring the whole picture to life with the butterflies. 😍💕

I have a lot of Favourite cakes...and this is one of them 💕
