SAD CHILDREN’S DAY IN NIGERIA 🇳🇬
We are not angry enough, I say it again Youths WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH 😡😡😡
It baffles me how silent we’ve become in the face of evil. Children are being abducted, families are being torn apart, and the rate of kidnapping and torture keeps climbing to terrifying levels. Yet our leaders move through the country as if nothing is wrong, holding rallies, posting posters, and campaigning for power.
Campaigning for what?
To lead which Nigeria?
A Nigeria where insecurity has eaten so deep that killing in broad daylight feels normal?
A Nigeria where children vanish and the news cycle moves on in 48 hours?
A Nigeria where the poor are hunted, and the rich assume their gates and guards make them untouchable?
To every political party, every office holder, every candidate:
Shame on you for prioritizing rallies over rescue missions.
Shame on you for making speeches while innocent children are in captivity.
If you are campaigning now and not fighting to end this terror, then you are not fit to lead anything but your own greed.
Let me be clear:
If you think insecurity is only for “the poor,” for “other states,” for “someone else’s child,” you are delusional. Terror does not respect your estate, your convoy, or your party membership. If we let it grow unchecked, no one is safe.
And to us, the youth:
If no politician is speaking up for these abducted children, and we still go out to vote for them without demanding answers, then we are part of the problem. Silence is consent. Apathy is complicity.
This is not the time for party loyalty. This is the time for Nigeria loyalty.
We need action, not slogans. Rescue plans, not roadshows. Justice, not just press statements.
Nigerian youth, wake up.
Raise your voice. Demand accountability. Protect your future.
If we don’t fight for these children today, who will fight for us tomorrow?
