Hallo..still here? Ok then. Listen, we are all for spontaneity, surprising whomever it is, incredible ability for gift-giving and all that. But..the reality is, one can only take so much mandarin oranges for buah tangan, or the kacang goreng and muruku's in umpteen packages or the rendang and kuih. It's so yesterday. There was no ornamental feature to create the character of the people who built it, maybe their featureless interior itself was the distinctiveness they were trying to exude to visitors. As they continued deeper into the complex, Olivia hardly observed any non-uniformed personnel. It was silent throughout their journey. The continuous bombardment of the Hygeia facility by the UNE Marines made full use of pyrotechnic eruptions. Its brightness blinded observers without the necessary sight protection. It was silent from an audible sense, but busy and chaotic from the other senses. It was continuous Human war machines clashing against each other on the ground. It wasn’t as majestic or ballet-like choreography of Starship battles, but the lack of artistic movement was superseded by unrelenting chaotic destruction. Ground engagements were never known for their grace, in the movement of formations due to their lack of wide-open spaces like ship combat maneuvres. They were made up by sheer close-combat brutality. The Hygeia “action” was all pyrotechnic awe, total assault domination. The full arsenal of offensive weaponry meant to overwhelm fixed defensive emplacements was on full display.

The view of Earth from the platform was majestic and breathtaking. The curvature of the Earth could be seen from the main Elevator disembarkation platform which was disgorging numerous commuters to their work destinations at the Shipyard close by. This platform was purpose-built for servicing personnel and goods for the Longjiang Shipyard. The human traffic that was shuffling through the platform was too focused on arriving for work rather than enjoying the magnificent view.
