撮影助手として映画のカメラマン鈴木達夫氏に弟子入り、寝取られ宗介、Winds of God、写楽などの映画で撮影助手を経験した後、CM、ミュージックビデオ等の現場で経験を積み、2000年の半ばからカメラマンとして活動。
海外や日本で海外クルーとも仕事をしてきた経験を自身の撮影とグレーディングに活かしいる。
ジャンルに囚われずオールマイティーにお受けしたお仕事には１００％の力を発揮するよう努めている。
ディレクター、プロデューサー、代理店、クライアントの要望を理解して現場を進めて行くことを大切にしている。
撮影の原点である光と影が生みだすコントラストや美を探求し続けている。

HAYA :
Cinematographer Haya’s first encounter with film-making was when he was still in high-school.
He has started working in Tokyo as an assistant, a focus puller, a chief assistant, an operator.He has learned everything about film-making firsthand from the industry. He then started to work on various projects from Japanese Cinema, commercials and music videos.He has become a cinematographer in 2005.His extensive knowledge covers lighting and digital camera equipment.One of projects he has worked on got a prize from Japanese Short Short Film Festival in 2009.He has shot music videos for very high profile national artists such as Kesuke Kuwata, Toshinobu Kubota, Arashi, Glay, TRF, Ken Hirai, Sophia, Masayoshi Yamazaki.Haya believes that Cinematography should consist of looking for stories, camera moves, choice of lenses, lights and shadows.Haya always looks forward to working with new people both locally and globally.
