Expectations for Pongal:
Hit expectation:

kadhalikka neramillai (though director's track record is not good but if it's on the lines unnale unnale, would click with strong leads)

Madhagajaraja (though markedly delayed even if it's half decent of sundar c movies would rake in massive numbers due to family audiences)

Not so good expectations:

Game changer (I wish am wrong here but still looks generic and repetitive, but may work in telugu if it's not a disaster)

Vanangaan (bala genre, impactful but has to be engaging if it has to work atleast decently)

Dark horse:

Nessipaya( coz of vishnu and yuvan ,though the cast looks less promising hopefully gives a surprise like arindhum ariyamulam)

Other movies no idea how much screen share and response it can get!!

Average to above average flick
Good 1st half with a medicore 2nd half and forgettable climax......atleast 40 minutes (so called ** japan** fight and last climax fight and drag) could've been chopped off!!

Future of tamil cinema is not promising when these big size movies work big and good small to mid range ( , , could not even reach breakeven).......no one will produce a content driven movie!

has very low expectations from me since the previous part was just a decent one and this is 3hrs 20mins long meaning it should be extremely engaging or it'll be a tedious watch....hope am wrong....but it may do wonders in North as the bookings are mammoth, even telugu ppl are not so excited as North..let's see tomorrow 🤞
