About us !
Hello there! I'm Kaushik Pandian, the founder of the Backlight Studios (based in Chennai and is willing to travel wordwide), and I'm so glad that you are here. Photographing weddings constantly reminds me that love is alive, strong, deep, unexpected, and worth fighting for and my goal is to create a vibrant time machine so you can revisit some of the best adventures of your life again. With my Chennai heritage base and cinema professional background, I take a step back to observe and capture all of the emotion and unique details of weddings and use it to tell stories through my lens. My couples are very dear to me, and I often follow them on more adventures through their lives. My spirit is undaunted, and I am forever inspired by relationships, nature, wind and light. I like to shoot small and cozy weddings, as well as large and noisy ones, and not forgetting pre-wedding and post-wedding artistic portraitures.
