OFT Interiors was thrilled to be part of the recent "設交 領航” event, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA) and the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Guangzhou on March 19-20. The event brought together over thirty talented designers from the Greater Bay Area, featuring industry leaders like Danny Cheng, CM Jao, Eric Tam, and Wang Xiaofeng.
The first day kicked off with a forum titled "灣區設計新視野," where designers from Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen shared insights on emerging trends and innovative ideas in the Bay Area design scene. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore collaboration and build connections. cm jao also joined a gala dinner, fostering relationships with interior designers from around the globe.
On the second day, attendees participated in a panel discussion at the World Summit, focusing on "The Role of Cultural Intelligence In International Design Success". C.M. Jao presented his perspective on design enriched by cultural insights, alongside other experts in the field. The day also included a visit to the 55th China (Guangzhou) International Furniture Expo and a networking session with real estate developers, allowing participants to showcase their work and explore new business opportunities in mainland China.
This event truly highlighted the dynamic and collaborative spirit of the Greater Bay Area’s design community, and OFT Interiors is excited to be part of this innovative journey.
